performance for binaural microphones in the storage space where the Sonology tape archive used to be kept. Mariette Groot and anne wellmer both recording the location, capturing the sound of buzzing in the archive with the students practising in nearby studios and classrooms.

The space is only visually seperate from the neighbouring large concert hall because it was originally built to be able to keep a enormous curtain that was used to change the acoustics of the Arnold Schoenbergzaal. When the curtain was replaced by acoustic panels, this curtain storage space was turned into a storage room used by art of sound and the institute of sonology. It also contained the institute''s large spring reverb. the former opening was covered with plywood but not acoustically treated. This is reason, why the rehearsal is so clearly audible on the recording.
